Hello everyone!
I know I'm starting this about a month and a half before I even go off on my trip, but I wanted to set it up so that you all could know where to reach me. My plan, although it is probably ambitious (as I am not the best at keeping up things of this nature), is to update this blog as many times as I have a chance. Hopefully I will update at least once a week.
For those of you who don't know about my plan for this Fall here is a concise version of it. I leave on September 4th for Italy where I will be living in Pistoia, a small village between Florence and Pisa in Tuscany. I will be there for four weeks. While there, I will be traveling around Italy and learning art history with the school I am enrolled in, the Aegean Center for the Fine Arts.
At the end of September, I leave for Greece. I will be in Greece for ten weeks. There, I will live on the island of Paros. This island is 100 miles SE of Athens. During this time, I will be going to school and working primarily on photography as well as continuing my studies of art history. I have a week off in November (1-9) so if any of you just so happen to be coming to Italy or Greece let me know and maybe we can meet somewhere! I return to the United States sometime between the 16th and 18th of December, but the exact date is yet to be determined.
My plan is to post some of the images from my travels throughout the semester. I also hope to keep people updated on where I'm going and where I've been.
